Restlessly

 Stepping cross glass
                girdled shoppers
               winged slippers traipsing Copper

Spilling groceries onto Heavens
               mind clicking digits,
                               calculating
               «How to get me more»

And tramping oozes uptown
               swarming footed millipedes
               grasping hungry plastic
               roving eyes         on each antenna.
                               dragging bags of entrails
                                               along the concrete
                                               a human smear

Winding out through turnstiles
               roaming every avenue
                               fists clutching
                               lipstick
              marking hieroglyphics onto
                               walls of brick
               broaching            chocolate
                               tangled
                                               golden yarn
               causing us to stumble gossip
                               elbows jerking
               as some fading echoes
                               spur rust
                                               to sprout along the tracks
